Maryland Wedding Officiant Offers Custom Wedding Vows You Can Use

Custom Wedding Vows From Maryland Wedding Officiant

This can give you an idea of the major elements that create a cohesive and dynamic marriage rite. It isn’t necessary to include all these features. And I inspire you to create your own traditions! Any references to a Higher Power are up to you. The entire point of the Marriage rite is to personalize it and make it unique to you. Why bother with some stale verses when you can customize them and make them as unique as you are! Take it from me, I’ve been a DC Wedding Officiant for over two decades. The best thing you can do to start your marriage on the right foot is to make your wedding personal, make it yours by establishing that it will be about you and no one else. What better place to start than with your Custom Wedding Vows

Things to consider before the occasion starts :

* Music
* marriage Programs
* Guest Seating
* Candle-lighting
* Seating of important family members

Processional : The order in which the marriage party enters the ceremony.

Presentation of the Bride/Groom : In conventional weddings, the Officiant may ask the parents to give their blessing on the wedding with words such as ‘Who presents this bride for marriage?’ Or in newer language ‘Who gives their blessing on this wedding and the joining of these families?’

Convocation /Welcome : Greetings to all the guests with appreciation for their attendance. Might include remembrance of family who have died or are’nt able to . We may also mention special or weird elements of the ceremony, for example ethnic traditions, to acquaint your guests with their significance.

Invocation : frequently in the form of a prayer which states our aim for gathering together and asks for blessing.

Reading : You may need to select a number of readings that have special meaning for you. Here’s a chance to invite friends or family to participate by giving the reading. Naturally, I’m happy to read also. Note : Some couples like to select a passage from Scripture as a means of lauding the religious convention in which they were raised even if they have chosen other religious trails.

The Address : a private message I give to you that talks to the unique qualities of your relationship.

Song/Musical Interlude/Reading : Here’s another opportunity to offer a reading or song you adore.

Exchange of vows : Words of love and commitment that you choose and talk to each other.

Unity Candle/Sand ceremony : Some couples select a ritual that illustrates how their lives are being irrevocably joined by lighting a joint candle from two individual ones or pouring sand from individual boxes into a joint container.

Blessing of the Hands : A blessing of the hands that may wear your ring for a lifetime.

Blessing of the marriage bands : The circle is a holy symbol of the everlasting love that combines all life.

Exchange of Rings with vows of commitment.

Pronouncement of marriage : Hooray! I get to say you are married!

KISSSSS!

Presentation of the bride and Groom’Family and friends, it’s my privilege to present for the 1st time : [Put your names here!]‘

Applause!

Recessional : The bridegroom return up the aisle followed by the marriage party , parents and grandparents and eventually the Officiant. Let the party begin!
