Ideally a honeymoon should be a time that a married couple will always remember for all of the right reasons. If your partner suggests a honeymoon package spent skiing in the Swiss Alps and you agree to it although you hate sports of any kind and would prefer a tropical beach then more fool you. The best honeymoon package appeals to both partners rather than just one half of the couple and if you agree to something you don’t want you may feel resentful during the vacation.

Some honeymoon packages are considered trendier than others but these fashions tend to change over time. Honeymoon destinations that are currently in vogue include places such as Mexico, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Fiji, Tahiti, Hawaii, Antigua and Italy. Each of these honeymoon destinations has its own special appeal. For instance Jamaica has a fantastic nightlife while Italy is considered to be very chic and sophisticated. However there is no rule that obligates couples to choose a trendy honeymoon destination just because other people seem to like it.

The world is a huge place and unless you are so wealthy that you do not have to work then you probably will not see half of it in your lifetime. Since there are so many different destinations to choose from there are no real limits when it comes to honeymoon packages. It is therefore very easy to choose a destination that is unique and suits the individual preferences of both halves of the couple. You could choose to take a honeymoon cruise to Alaska or go on safari in Kenya. Alternatively you may decide to go on a walking vacation in Spain or see the pyramids in Egypt. You literally have a whole world full of choices at your disposal.
